How secure is the remote access to the surveillance feeds to ensure privacy and data protection?

At LVT, we’ve taken steps to ensure that your data is only visible to authorized users. This starts with making sure your data never touches a public network. LVT has their own private cellular network to keep your data secure.

Are the cameras equipped with night vision or infrared technology for after-hours monitoring?

LVT cameras are equipped with infrared and thermal imaging cameras. This means that even in total darkness, our cameras can clearly detect threats. These thermal cameras are camouflage-proof and can identify heat signatures from a distance.

What are the storage options for the footage, and how long can I store video recordings?

About 30 days of footage is stored on the LVT Unit, depending on the size of the files. Then, it is continuously overwritten. If a customer requests a video, it is pulled from the 30 days storage and put in the cloud for easy access.

Can the surveillance system send real-time alerts in case of a security breach or suspicious activity?

Our intrusion detection software is intuitive, reliable, and simple to use. The LVT intrusion detection system can be customized to suit a variety of different perimeters and situations. We make it easy for you to identify your detection zone and set up real-time alerts that vary according to your settings.

How user-friendly is the software for managing the camera system, especially for franchise owners with limited tech experience?

The LVT Platform is a user-friendly system that allows for easy review and transference of data without the high price tag. Since most security footage does not need to be viewed, the programming in the LVT Platform helps identify threats and alerts the user when something requires their attention.

What kind of maintenance and technical support do you offer for the surveillance system?

The 24/7 support team is responsible for keeping Live Units up, but their work is done remotely from our office here in Utah. They monitor the health of deployed units and work to resolve issues when there is a problem.

How does the remote surveillance system handle power outages or internet downtime?

It’s critical that your surveillance equipment is operational at all hours of the day, which is why we’ve gone to great lengths to ensure complete reliability 24/7, rain or shine. Our unit has: Six deep cycle batteries with 460 AH battery capacity, additional power from solar panels, and optional smart generators to back up your back up. How reliable are the cameras in extreme weather conditions, especially if some of my franchises are located in harsh climates?
