Dale Murphy, a two-time Most Valuable Player in Major League Baseball, sat down with blogger Bob Roble to discuss his new career at LiveView Technologies as the Vice President of Sports. In this role, Murphy will take the LVT solution to sport and event venues. Stadiums and event sites have an ever increasing need to monitor their parking lots and the surrounding areas. Murphy plans to help provide a full turn-key security solution for this industry.

“I’m excited for this new opportunity to join the [LiveView Technologies] team,” said Murphy in the interview. “I’m impressed with the technology and insights offered through this platform and can see how applicable and needed it is in venues of all sizes and event types.”

LiveView Technologies offers rapid deployment, cloud-based security solutions. The platform does not require traditional wiring or bandwidth, so it can be up and running in 30 minutes. Also, instead of viewing recordings, it offers a live feed straight to a mobile device.

During his 19-year baseball career, Murphy played outfield, first base, and catcher for the Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, and the Colorado Rockies. In addition to his two MVP awards, Murphy was an All-Star seven times, and won five Gold Gloves and four Silver Slugger awards during his MLB career. He hit a total of 398 home runs and had 1,266 runs batted in (RBI).
