Derek Boggs
Director of Marketing and Demand Generation
Derek Boggs grew up in Sandy, Utah and he loves sports. He grew up playing soccer and played in high school, college at the University of Portland, and then professionally for a team in Sweden. While he still enjoys soccer, today he plays more basketball with his 2-year-old son—Little Tikes basketball. “Currently,” he laughed, “I am undefeated, but I know that won’t last forever.”
Boggs joined LiveView Technologies a little over three months ago as the first member of the new marketing team. In his position as the Director of Marketing and Demand Generation, Boggs is responsible for creating quality leads for the sales team. “I love working with people and have always enjoyed leading a team,” he said. “Helping others succeed professionally, but more importantly personally, is addictive to me. Working here at LVT, I get a chance to work with a fantastic team and seeing everyone achieve success has been extremely rewarding!”
Boggs loves to learn and makes it a goal to keep growing. He lives by the motto of, “The only thing I am certain of is that I know nothing.” He uses this as a constant reminder to continuously test himself, get out of his comfort zone, experience new things, and to say yes to opportunities.
